The Lord\u2019s strategy as seen in Joshua:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
-let the people of Canaan hear about what the Lord did to Pharaoh through Moses.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
-let the people of the land fear and their hearts melt<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
-let them hear about the miracle of the Jordan<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
-now they are on the defensive and are preparing their defenses for the Israelite attack<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
-this keeps all the kings of the land from uniting<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
-Jericho, Ai, and Bethel are taken, which cuts the northern king from the southern kings<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
-Joshua and Israel can concentrate on the southern kings because the northern kings are still on the defensive, waiting to see what will happen with the southern kings<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
-Now the northern kings unite -it\u2019s too late.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
