Ch. 21 Cities of the Levites

Why create special cities for the Levites?

Some reasons for the Lord having the Levites living among the people:

1.  All the eyes of the people would be upon them. (their example would be important)

2. It would make the Levites more aware of their calling by God.

3. They would be more conscious of what was going on in the lives of the people

4. The people would be reminded of God.
